Facebook takes more shapes of post than any other network here, and each shape has different rules about what it will accept. The composer knows which is which.
Same posts, same Page, two ways of discovering the rules.
Every tile is something Facebook does differently from the other eight networks here.
Plain text, an image, a carousel, video, or images and video together in one post. A carousel can repeat its caption on every slide or carry one caption for the set.
The only shape that takes a location.
Tag a collaborating Page by searching its name rather than pasting an ID. The location field is not offered here, because the platform has nowhere to put it.
Story video has its own shorter cap, separate from the general video limit, because the platform treats the two as different objects.
On feed posts that carry media. Not on Reels, Stories or text-only posts, because the platform has nowhere to put it and a field that silently does nothing is worse than no field.
On video Reels, searched by name so you can confirm you picked the right Page before it goes out.
Preferred aspect ratios are known for each placement, so media is cropped deliberately rather than by the platform.
Three steps, and nothing retyped between them.
You approve on Facebook's own screen and we never see a password. Personal profiles do not appear in the list, because the platform does not allow publishing tools to post to them.
One caption for the set, or one per slide. The fields that would do nothing on a Reel are not shown on a Reel, so there is nothing to remember and nothing to undo.
Caption length, media count, aspect ratio and the rules of the placement are verified while you are still able to change them.
Read from the same registry the composer validates against, so this page cannot disagree with the publisher.
No. Facebook only allows publishing tools to post to Pages, so the composer connects Pages and nothing else. If a Page is missing from the list, it is a permission on the Facebook side rather than something to fix here.
No. Profile reports cover Instagram and TikTok. We would rather say that here than sell you a page that quietly does not deliver.
A Reel takes video only. A Story takes one image or one video, and Story video is capped separately from feed video. The composer switches the rules with the placement, so you find out before you schedule rather than after it fails.
Not on Facebook. The API does not expose photo tagging to publishing tools. You can tag a collaborating Page on a video Reel, and geo-tag a feed post that carries media.
